The Show is Back!
It is such a relief to hear the show LIVE again. There is nothing worse than waking up on a monday morning and hearing a replay. And this time around, as much as I love Billy West, I got real tired of that special running over and over.
Secondly, I know this has been a complaint in the past but come on guys start telling us when you are going on vacation! We all know by now the minute we hear the show isn’t live, we know not to tune in for the rest of the week.

Think i’d much rather hear Billy West than this endless Mel Karmazin bit.
Haven’t checked my Sirius stock lately, but once again XM kicks ass in the deal…anyone knows if those vending machines @ Sirius are IPO yet???

I’ve realized by now they don’t mention negative feedback regarding their excessive vacation and not telling us when they’re taking it. It would be amazing if Howard ever addressed this to the audience.

They used to talk about it back in the KRAQ days. All the fans used to complain and their reasoning for not telling fans had some bullshit to do with that they still wanted people to listen to the shows…. my guess is for the sponsors sake … but on Satellite, they necessarily need the sponsors - WE PAY FOR THE DAMN SERVICE!
Tell us when you are vacationing and I will decide how to use my $12 a month whether I listen to you or break for the week as well..
Maybe we should start a Howard Stern Show Vacation Petition.

I wish the vacations would be announced too. I don’t mind that they take vacation or that they take most Fridays off. I just want to know what’s happening. I’ll still listen to Master Tape Theater or whatever they air while they’re gone usually, but it is a disappointment when I’m expecting a live show and it isn’t one. When they were off on Presidents’ Day, I wasn’t surprised. But I wish I had known beforehand that they were taking the entire week off.
