Fuck Artie Lange: The Stern Show revisits Jackie Martling

The way the stars align sometimes is very weird, and who would have guessed that one day Artie would announce he is leaving the show and the next show there would be a whole Jackie Martling retrospective?

Is anyone enjoying the Stern Spotlight: Jackie Martling?

I’d have to say the part I like the most is the Jackie Doll… when Billy West would go on and on were the funniest damn things… even when Fred and Howard were doing the Jackie voice the other day on the show was hysterical.

Jackie = not funny , Jackie voice = funny.

i like artie, but if they would let jackie come back…. I would quit my job and never turn the radio off. This week of hearing the chemistry of Howard, Fred, Jackie, and Robin… It’s makes me yearn for them all to get back together.

Artie is funny, but he does not make Howard funny the way Jackie did.

I like Artie’s on air persona better then jackie’s. I cannot say if jackie passed better material to howard or if he brings better material to meetings. i wish they did more bits like at the BBQ turns and less Sal and richard phone calls, it’s the same ish over and over. Robins seems to not be into working with Jackie again. At lest thats what shes saying on air.

I dont think Artie writes for the show… he is just another Robin, right?

Even on his best day Jackie was never as funny as Artie…and to my knowledge Artie doesn’t write for the show…Benji’s got that gig now.

Come on, the gang attacking Jackie and Jackie reading from Robin’s book was amazing. Artie is sliding downhill, bring back Jackie!
