Why compare Artie to Belushi or Farley? The parallels between a fading Jerry Garcia and Artie are much more appropriate. They are (or were) both Big, fat diabetic heroin addicts. Both had years of family and friends trying to bend over backwards to help (or enable?). Responding with “Arties going to do what Arties going to do”, Jerry was first, Artie is number two.

It’s amazing how howard coddels artie. I need a job where I get paid well to eat sleep and BS. The one thing I can’t understand is how Artie thinks it’s ok to fall asleep during the show. Thats completely INSANE.

I am Type II diabetic and hearing the blood sugar reading he is definitely diabetic. This is not a thing to mess with. Any blood sugar reading over 140-160 is doing serious tissue damage to your body. My mother was thirty nine years old and had quintruple by-pass surgery from years of not controlling her diabetes. Now she is on kidney dialysis and has all the toes of one foot amputated.
