Video: Day 2 Imus technical malfunctions
As a big Stern fan, I don’t like Imus. Therefore it makes me laugh to watch this. I just wish there was more video. Second day on the job and the seeds of anger are already being planted. You know he was probably swearing for someone to fix it went the video faded to black.

His face looks like an old catcher’s mitt under a cowboy hat. Why is it in this world mediocrity is rewarded? In the case of Don Imus, irrelevance is rewarded.

Okay, i’ll give Imus the benefit of the doubt—according to some crap i read in the paper he attacts the vaunted 18 to 54 male audience—then i watch this clip and the music beds are UberBORING and wonder who are these motherfuckers writing for the papers in NYC!
Dickhead Dave [Sternhater Hinckley] says Curtis & Kuby had more listener when Imus was on the FAN, NYC’s then sports radio…i’m sure Jerome from the Bronx had more fans…but according to Hinckley “Imus was ahead among the 25- to 54-year olds, the most important group to advertisers.”
i NEVER heard Imus on the FAN or WNnnnnnnnnnnnnnBC, and the only time i saw his CNBC[?] show was one night when i couldn’t fall asleep and there was no snooze-fest on Fox “news”…i was out in ten minutes.
Like Stern i thought it was DISNEY that brought this turd back to replace Curtis & Kuby, who were actually the best alternative to Stern in NYC…but according to Dickhead Dave in his Radio Dial column—WABC is now owned by Citadel Broadcasting, an Infinity wannabe whose board must be on crack if they think Imus is their saviour.

Imus is lucky if he attracts a 54 - “hospice care” demographic. I think his other audience is milk cows shitting in a barn waiting to have their teets pulled.
The big question I have is who’s the Mensa member who decided that Curtis and Kuby, who were pulling a respectable rating in NYC radio, needed to be replaced by this fossil? Can I hire him to run MY business?
And how is it that Don Imus has been able to make people believe that he is the greatest thing since sliced bread? I can’t understand it. How is it in this world there are mediocre people able to convince others they are worthy of accolades?

Is it just me or is that guy Clair that calls the wrap up show to yell at artie a bit of an asshole. lol
