Artie thanked ProFlowers.com this morning for helping him send Dana 1,000 red roses. Dana told Artie he should fuck up more often (because of the roses).
Some more details arose about Artie and Dana’s rekindling relationship. About 3 weeks ago they met up and Artie kissed Dana goodnight and she reciprocated. Yea no wonder she is so pissed Art.
Apparently Artie and Dana are seeing each other this weekend. I can’t believe Dana fell for it.

I was on the road today (unable to listen) and when I got back and read this I was so depressed. Why is he wasting his time with her? She’s going to just nag him for the rest of his life and he’s never going to change (lets hope). In other words he’s going to join the ranks of miserable married men.

Rat, I wasn’t so much saying why can’t men see this, as much as why would he DO it. Because he knew it would work, that’s why. Men do this alllllllllll the time, and it isn’t fair. If you aren’t going to therapy for yourself Artie, it certainly won’t work with Dana telling you to go.
I mean, at 40 years old, he doesn’t want to put in time to have a relationship with anyone else, it’s sad. With Dana, he slips right back in ( no pun intended). But the original post of “I can’t believe Dana fell for it” had me mental almost. OF COURSE she fell for it, women tend to fall for romantic gestures. But men who do that, especially when they are caught are pretty shitty.

No, because I’m not like Dana. I would have admitted that it was done, when it was done. I said women tend to fall for romantic gestures, because we do. What I was pointing out was men tend to take advantage of that, but nothing is ever 100 %, there are always exceptions. And it’s never ALL women, or ALL men. Just most and in most cases.

Men dont take advantage of it. Its just our nature to woo the opposite sex. But even more so every fucking movie and chick tells us to do something romantic if we like a girl, so thats what we do. But in Dana’s case, she is dumb if she hears Artie banging all these girls, then gets first hand details of the 2 chick thing, while they were trying to talk again, and then to accept the flowers is just silly. The roses shouldnt impress anyone anyways, we all know artie wastes cash like its nothing. So what he spent on roses its the same amount he might throw down on a stupid bet.

Hey, I’m not saying I wouldn’t want roses too. We like that stuff, when it’s sincere. It could have been anyone telling him to do it, but he never thought of it himself. How sincere could he have been? maybe he needed it pointed out to him? 8 fuckin grand on roses. He could have shown up with one rose, and talked to her, instead he wanted the roses to do it for him. “Sincere” is the key word here. Robin said something to the effect of “it shows that he’s sincere”. Unreal. How so? Someone else (Robin?) suggested it. Other people (Tim Sabean) helped arrange it.
