“Sincere” is the key word here. Robin said something to the effect of “it shows that he’s sincere”. Unreal. How so? Someone else (Robin?) suggested it. Other people (Tim Sabean) helped arrange it. Another person (Teddy) executed it. WTF? The term is “throwing money at the problem”. Artie even made a later comment about how he has a date with Dana this weekend, but it is also the inaugeral weekend for Rick’s Cabaret, sooo…

Hey, I’m not saying I wouldn’t want roses too. We like that stuff, when it’s sincere. It could have been anyone telling him to do it, but he never thought of it himself. How sincere could he have been? maybe he needed it pointed out to him? 8 fuckin grand on roses. He could have shown up with one rose, and talked to her, instead he wanted the roses to do it for him. But Dana is like Carmela Soprano,, she’ll take, and enjoy the lifestyle, then when something happens, plays the victim. Somewhat anyway.I dunno…

Men dont take advantage of it. Its just our nature to woo the opposite sex. But even more so every fucking movie and chick tells us to do something romantic if we like a girl, so thats what we do. But in Dana’s case, she is dumb if she hears Artie banging all these girls, then gets first hand details of the 2 chick thing, while they were trying to talk again, and then to accept the flowers is just silly. The roses shouldnt impress anyone anyways, we all know artie wastes cash like its nothing. So what he spent on roses its the same amount he might throw down on a stupid bet.

No, because I’m not like Dana. I would have admitted that it was done, when it was done. I said women tend to fall for romantic gestures, because we do. What I was pointing out was men tend to take advantage of that, but nothing is ever 100 %, there are always exceptions. And it’s never ALL women, or ALL men. Just most and in most cases.
