George Takei offended at Anti-Gay Language
George wrote an email to Artie about how offended and upset he was over Artie’s use of gay bashing language towards High Pitch Mike. Robin said there is no excuse. Artie was apologetic and clarified that he “don’t hate gay people, I really do hate mike”. Someone needs to call Dr. Ablow and ask him if that comment makes any sense.

That’s a good observation Allison. But I hope its not the case. I have mixed feelings on this one.
On the one hand he is a very edgy comic and to be a really good edgy comic you have to cross the line in the name of edgy comedy. I think Artie has done a good job of this so far.
On the other hand, sometimes Artie takes it to far like the relentless assault on high pitch mike for being gay. I hate high pitch mike for a number of reasons but not for being gay. If people want to be gay thats fine by me, but that doesn’t give you a pass from all criticism.
But i’d rather have Artie out of control, rather than a censored Artie. Censorship might just be what’s truly wrong with this country.
Having said that, I feel the need to say, “fuck everyone for everything.” And if anyone wonders if that includes them, the answer is yes it includes you. Fuck you.
