Grandma Caprio Obituary
In case some of you missed it. Artie’s grandmother’s obituary was placed online the day following the funeral. I linked to it in a previous post and it looks like some of our readers and Howard Stern fans left some nice comments in the guest book.
Amalia A. Caprio
CAPRIO Amalia A. Caprio of Kenilworth, 92 Mrs. Amalia A. Caprio (nee Manto), 92, of Kenilworth died on Feb. 24, 2008, at the Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains. The funeral was held on Feb. 27, 2008. Arrangement were by the Galante Funeral Home, Union. Born in Newark, Mrs. Caprio lived in East Orange before moving to Kenilworth 31 years ago. She was a homemaker. She was the wife of the late Salvatore; mother of Thomas and Bruce Caprio, Judy Lange and Diane Napolitano Niceforo; sister of Pellegrino Manto, Josephine Lavan, and the late Peter and Frank Manto and Vera De Angelis; also survived by seven grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren.
Also
I wasn’t sure how much Howard was going to bring up the Grandma Caprio routine he does but on Artie’s first day back after the funeral Howard did a little impression. Seemed Artie may have been a little bothered by it when he went into a Beth impression. Howard seemed to get the hint and it was dropped and the next subject came up.

Yeah I figured it was at galante. Nice people over there, had both my great-grandparents services done there, they do a great job.
