During the wrap up show today there were some question on whether Artie liked Gallagher because he was so quiet during the interview. Artie came in later to say that he never liked Gallagher’s act at all but that he enjoyed today’s interview immensely and that he was funnier than he has ever been.

Admittedly Artie said he was funny because the guy was so crazy with the things he was saying not because of any jokes.

Asked on whether he stays quiet on purpose during quests is because he has so much disdain for them, Artie responded:

“Kathy Griffin was the example for a long time. I respect her success and everything but she would come in here and talk about something Cher told backstage at an award show and that would be my time to read the paper.”

With respect to Gallagher today Artie said, “Its weird, today he had no idea who i was … sometimes its a judgment call on my part - i feel me throwing in my shit would disturb the flow of his nuttiness. I pick and choose my moments” .
