I think where Artie doesn't realise he is doing wrong is that he said that stuff to Mike out of anger and spite, it was not said in a humorous way and he was not trying to make a joke. His argument that Eddie Murphy said similar stuff in 1983 is lame at best and it sounds childish to boot. It also bugs me that very often he makes gay jokes which include aids references.
