Takei says Lange shouldn’t do PSA
On the wrap up show today, George Takei said that Artie is “clearly not the person to make that PSA”. George felt it would become a joke and this is a serious topic that the world needs education on. He feels the word “fag” is like saying the n-word to African Americans. Gary told him that Artie does not believe that. George said the word is full of hate and people have died over it. Sounds like it would be a good debate between Sulu and the Baby Gorilla. Ralph later called in and tried to describe and defend Artie’s use of the word fag.
Artie is Gay?
Sounds like George’s gaydar was going off. He said that Artie acted so good on the “coming out” prank that there must have been some honesty in there. “No one can act that good” said Takei.

Artie is a disgrace to himself and an embarassment to everyone around him. If he is really a homosexual than he should come out and deal with it. The flagrant homoerotic comedy and gay bashing which is the cornerstone of his act is as clear a sign as anything that he can’t deal with his reality. His mom will not hate him.

Seriously Gary and Ralph need to stop going on auto damage control. Artie had a hate filled tirade about gay’s directed at High fag. Having him be a spokes person for gay tolerance would be like having Chuck Zito speaking out for womens rights. It’s flat out stupid.

A leopard can’t change their spots. Just like Dog the Bounter Hunter thought it was OK to say the n-word, Artie thinks it’s OK to say “fag”. He’s a product of his environment. I’m not going to defend the guy and I honestly don’t think he’s gay. He’s just a briliant fuck up. That’s all he his, plain and simple. You accept him for who he is and if you don’t like him, so be it.
The only thing I’m afraid of is George quitting his affiliation to the show. If he quits over Artie, then I’m going to be pissed!

I agree that Artie shouldn’t do the PSA and I think it’s a part of his speech, he’s not really going to change. So either he has to seriously be on board with it ( which he isn’t ) or don’t do it.
I don’t think he’s gay & think it’s ridiculous that he can’t make it in to work 4 days a week - when is the last time ANY of the other major players missed a day ?

Artie isn’t gay…. he’s fat, a drug addict, not all that intelligent, inconsiderate, a mess, and emotionally disturbed - but he’s no pole smoker.
I love Artie, but this calling in sick shit is beyond ridiculous. Howard doesn’t need Artie, although it may not seem like it right now.
