Keith Ablow tries to help Artie and Mike
Dr. Keith Ablow was in studio this morning trying to resolve the Artie / High Pitch Mike conflict. Keith tried to focus on changing Mike’s reaction to Artie; probably since everyone knows you aren’t changing Artie. Both guys were slinging mud throughout it. Howard kept trying to end the segment saying he thought things were cleared up a bit but I doubt it.
At the end, a hand shake occurred and Artie said:
“Mike’s verbal bullets are nothing against my armor of self confidence and you should feel the same way about my bullets. And I look forward to a relationship where I horribly, viciously insult you and you don’t say anything.“

Yeah, the more I hear about this, I realize how easy it is to just take Mike out of the equation (a.k.a. off the air). I think it sucks that it seems like every show Artie goes on now he has to talk about this issue.

Hi Pitch Mike is a over reacting jerk and I really don’t find him entertaining at all… Artie’s picking on him is tiring and predictable, I wish they’d move on from it after a minute or so…. I’m hoping things will turn around and Artie can come back. If not, I don’t know what I’m going to do. I love Howard but Artie being there was the best.
