Howard and Artie dispute of gay talk
Howard and Artie got into a short argument this morning about Artie’s use of the word “gay” as an insult not as an offensive word. The most interesting part is when Artie reversed the criticism back onto Howard claiming that Howard has been using it for years. Artie claims he had Jason pull tape a while ago just in case he ever got into an argument with Howard over it.
At the end Artie, said “Artie is gonna do what Artie is gonna do”. Howard repeated it as well and conceded to the fact that Artie is just going to say anything he wants at this point.
So what about his promises to George? He mentioned George and Brad are the sweetest people [no pun intended] however does he think he will really be able to convince George of his word choices?

That was pretty freaking funny though…. even though its the same of what he did before, Artie sounds like he has a refreshed energy behind him, a happiness which made Artie fun on the show. Makes his delivery better..

I just woke up like an hour ago, don’t kill the messenger!! lol. I do hear him a bit more, but like Artie’s heart said, a couple road gigs and he may slip back into it. It’s very easy to slip back into old habits. I am trying to have some faith in him though.

Yeah, hopefully he will tackle that soon artiefan. He needs exercise, needs to eat better, but also the motivation to do it.

Hampton Howie lied to Neil Patrick Harris about his feelings on gays. Listen to the Stuttering John spotlight and hear Howard saying gays aren’t born that way and they can be fixed because they are just messed up in the head. He used to do tons of AIDS jokes too so he has no room to rip Artie on it.

True - I think Howard’s views have genuinely changed since the days of his savage AIDS comments and neanderthal opinions on gays. Maybe he still thinks gays are “created,” but he never stops giving his support towards pro-gay political issues and rights to equality. (Although I still think his parody of Brokeback Mt. was dead on.) Artie on the other hand, never stops exposing himself as the hypocritical “phony” he claimed to hate so much right before his attack of Sal. If a “regular guy” in the fit of a blind rage, where all your pc censorship is removed, wanting to call someone the worst thing he can possibly imagine goes to the gay stuff, then face it, deep in his heart he just plain hates gays. Kissing up to George T. or telling Neil P. Harris that he would support a gay son is the biggest pile of Hollywood bullshit. And the fact that he constantly equates gays and AIDS as if they’re the same thing (”Howard’s TiVo is so gay it has HIV”) only further confirms his venom.
