Howard and Artie got into a short argument this morning about Artie’s use of the word “gay” as an insult not as an offensive word. The most interesting part is when Artie reversed the criticism back onto Howard claiming that Howard has been using it for years. Artie claims he had Jason pull tape a while ago just in case he ever got into an argument with Howard over it.

At the end Artie, said “Artie is gonna do what Artie is gonna do”. Howard repeated it as well and conceded to the fact that Artie is just going to say anything he wants at this point.

So what about his promises to George? He mentioned George and Brad are the sweetest people [no pun intended] however does he think he will really be able to convince George of his word choices?

I am not defending Ralph here, but I couldnt’t help but laugh this morning while Howard was telling his Ralph stories from yesterday and Artie chimmed in with “I’m not really together but…” and then goes into saying that Ralph could not hold down a job and that he has been working since he was 11 blah blah blah…

So the man that works a 4-day a week job, falls asleep during job and calls out sick a lot is telling another guy that he isn’t doing his job??

Both appearances were pretty fun. The Zolarvision was twice as long but its whole different format which allowed for that. Oddly enough both times I have had the pleasure of sharing the frequency with Pedro, looking forward to the next time.

Jason Kaplan just booked me to be on a special Super Fan Round Table show on tonight at 7pm.

The show will be an opportunity for fans to speak up specifically about Artie returning to the show after his meltdown on 4.10.08.

Howard started the show off teasing the audience whether Artie was actually back or not. We heard Artie’s laugh right in the beginning and Howard was suggesting it could have been a Fred sound effect.

After a few phone calls, Fred played a drum roll and Howard said Artie is here and they started talking loosely about the fight describing how Benjy held Artie back and how Ronnie got Teddy out of the room.

The Apology - Feeling the Love

Artie apologized to the audience and the show with what could be only described as a moment of clarity. Artie explained that while he was gone Howard called him (which meant a lot), a lot of people from the show called, and he realized that he was a part of a family at Sirius. He took sole responsibility. Teddy was not a thief, he has not been stealing from him, although, they do have money issues.

“Artie WILL be on the show Monday, this coming from both him AND Bob Levy who were there preforming. They both announced it during Artie’s set and at the end of the show. Artie did an awesome job tonight, me and the boys had to set up the dressing room, this man really does eat like a machine lol. He was presented a plaque by the UFD, in a real moving ceremony (the fallen firefighters son came up and everything)”

I knew he would be back. But for how long?? Just for a goodbye or to announce a break?

“A source from within the Sirius Satellite radio walls recently reached out to me to confirm that Artie Lange will be suspended when the Howard Stern Show returns from vacation. The suspension, according to my source is just to buy time until the higher ups at Sirius can work out Lange’s contract payout. Ultimately Artie Lange will be fired and new comedians will begin auditioning for his job when the show returns on Monday. My source has never been wrong. In fact, it was the same source he told me that David Lee Roth was going to replace Howard Stern on KROCK. Stay tuned for more details in next weeks issue of Steppin Out magazine.”

– Matt’s take: I don’t know if I can buy them filling Artie’s spot with temporary comedians that quick without preparing the audience and letting us comment before that takes place. And is a suspension really needed since they just had a week off?
