You have no idea how long I tried to cut and paste that. I was using Photo editor and Paint pad. Finally I had to give it to Artiefan, who did a MUCH better job lol.
Belushi was a comic genius doing off broadway, SNL in the classic years, several classic hit films, etc.
Artie’s biggest accomplishments include eating and fighting on the howard stern show. How he would ever compare himself to a talent like Belushi is sad example of an out of control ego.
I think there are similarities, but no one can ever be compared to who did it first. Artie had the early MadTV days, like SNL lmao. A lot of comedians have out of control egos. Some are just funnier than others. But one person’s funny can be another’s “Get me the fuck out of here”
your right artiefan Blues brothers and Animal house are comparable to beer league and dirty work and whatever other masterpieces Artie was in. Arties Mad TV, big momma and pig skit’s where works of art over Belush’s countless sketch’s on SNL. Not to mention the #1 billboard album that artie had comparable to “the Blues Brothers: Briefcase full of blues”. And all of Arties off broadway work…..unforgetable…
Wow going back over these facts I’m ashamed that I drew any negative comparisions over Arties massive talent base. Clearly Artie Lang is on the same Talent level as John Belushi…
You are gonna lose total respect for me when I say that I never jumped on that John Belushi bandwagon. He had good stuff but i never idolized him …. another thing that he and Artie shares. LOL
I don’t idolize Belushi. I just think he’s had a more successful career and is heads and shoulders more talented then Artie Lang is and will ever be. But hey thats just my opinion.
