Artie Goes Deep
I’ve just been told (by my lovely friend Brittny) Artie has been talking a lot about his past drug use, etc… on the wrap up show today. I will get it recorded for you all during the west coast feed. For now you can chat here about it.
WOW, If you missed the Wrap-up show - you missed a great story
When Artie first came into the studio he talked to Jon and Gary about what he had to go through to get back on the show. The answer will surprise you! Listen Here:
- He talked about how he drove to Delaware to score his drugs. He would leave right after the show and drive straight there. Sometimes the dealer wouldn’t show and he would have to go back the next day.
- Discussed about how he prevented his withdrawals by talking lots of Vicodin in a day. How sometimes his breakfast would consist of 15 perkasets.
- Went into a bit more in depth about how he quit just in time for Beer League and how he almost lost the movie.
- Mitch Hedberg and how his death helped him want to get clean
- Talked about how he resented Howard for a few days but it was clouded by all the drug use and he was acting like a drug addict
Artie’s New Assistant Announcement Soon
Looks like Artie may have hired someone. He said he will make an announcement soon. Sorry to everyone that emailed looking to get the gig. I wish I could have been more help.
Artie re-hires Teddy
Teddy is going back to work with Artie on the road as a “Stage Manager” along with JD. Howard responded by saying that Artie really needs to go to a shrink. And maybe Teddy does as well. Artie said Teddy did a really good job. I tried contacting Teddy for comment but I doubt I will get any response.

Arties “stage” manager!? Nice, does that mean Teddy got his 1% gross? On a side note what do you think teddy’s monthly payment is to Lunchbox? If he starts giving Artie 2 bills a month now he can have his debt paid off in 2 1/2 years. Maybe they worked out an automatic deduction from Teddy’s paycheck.
These dudes are so freaking dysfunctional.

As for Tom [in the first clip]—Artie’s guido-riche…he lives as far away from moulies as possible, and he’s probably secretly listening to Giuseppe Verdi and sneaking out to the Met [which is faggier than the METS] on his off days.

Hey BDub, sorry about that. Yea what happened is I published the audio to a website and in one day the website shut down the feed because we blew out the bandwidth allocated.
