Whenever we take one day holiday, they take the whole week LOL. It felt like it was just the other week when the show was on break. I wasn’t surprised this morning, I think they have been taking this week off for a long time now….

They made comments about being off on air last week. But where still aloof about speaking of if. I heard the elephant boy segment on the way in today. i really want to hear the crackhead bob intro i never heard that one before.
They have been ripping us off since day one one Sirius. They gave him waaaaaaay too much latitude when they negotiated his contract. I could excuse the four day work week if there weren’t these RIDICULOUS amounts of vacation.
Howard knows he has an audience which, by and large, follows him blindly and will defend anything he says and anything he does. That is why SFN is a propaganda mouthpiece for the show which crushes and bans anything and anybody who dares question the show or Howard’s Actions. Try posting what I’m writing here at SBG on SFN. You would be banned quicker than you could type “Baba Booey”.
Howard has said it himself, he thinks his audience are ungrateful assholes. It was one thing when we were getting the show for free. It is an entirely different ballgame when you are doing a show for subscription radio. I demand more from them, not less, because I’m paying for it, just as all of you are now paying for it.
I think they should either move the show to afternoons, go back to five days a week, or just be honest with the audience and the fans and tell us “You’re lucky we still do this, we don’t care how much you pay or what you think, you’ll get nothing, and like it.”
I would be rich if I were Howard Stern, but I would be incredibly embarrassed to take advantage of my fans like this. He’s become an elitist limousine liberal. I’m sorry, I call it the way I see it.
I totally agree Florida Booey. This sucks and at this point I think Howard sucks. 500 millon 5 year contract and another 250 million in stock? WTF HOWARD YOU SUCK!
You guys need to calm down and find alternative sources of entertainment.. Geeeez.. Howard has been busting his ass for 30 years.. he’s 54 years old.. he’s got more money than he knows what to do with and a young hot future wife in the mix… can you blame him if his motivation has diminished?? I’m not some super brainwashed fan, but I can understand if the dude wants to coast for a while.. The only person undeserving of this cushy schedule is Artie Lange.. That fat unappreciative fuck just stumbled into this!! At least Fred, Robin and Gary have been there since the lean times..
I almost cancelled my subscription when Ralph was doing the “Friday Show” every two weeks. That meant a full 10% of my subscription $ was paying to listen to Ralph. That was simply unacceptable.
Howard has figured out how to drain the most money out of us while providing less and less entertainment. “Howard TV”? Please. I (and millions of other people) have DirecTV…so that’s out.
Taking that Thursday off a couple weeks ago was the equivalent of him selling us crappy coffee mugs and bumper stickers…shit he said he’d never do.
This week it really started to eat at me that the show is off again. Howard gets on a high horse about Oprah providing very little content, but he has been off alot and the summer break hasn’t even started! I love listening to other shows though. sirius should make it policy to get Jason Ellis in for morning drive when howard off. i personally hate a weeks worth of master tape straight (the old shows repeat like 8 times because they were shorter shows)
I’m the first one to agree that I love to hear the show live…but, I’m sorry folks, I’ve been fucking GLUED to my SIRIUS today and yesterday. I can’t get enough of this Whack Pack re-visitation.
We would never get anything close to this on testicle radio. So, count your blessings folks. Howard is gonna do what Howie is gonna do, fuck it, and enjoy this awesome replay week. (that’s what I’m doing anyway, and I’m Artie’s FUGGIN Taint.)
I gotta admit that I haven’t given it a chance to see if its any good. The live show takes up so much of my days normally that when i know there is no live show I take advantage of having a normal life during that time.
I love that crazy bitch Croix though, she’s on now, I had to call my sister at work to turn it on lol. Slow Adam today too. When they are off I’ll turn it on, to see what is on,, if it’s something I’m not into, I’ll turn it off. But I do think a break every once in a while is necessary. Not that I have much time for a lot anyway lol.
Sirius has too much to offer that paying the 13 bucks doesnt bother me. If I didnt like it ill put on Lithium or Raw Dog. To complain about the 13 bucks just for howard isnt the point why he went over. He wanted to expose his fans to what the entire station has to offer as well as his uncensored show. See the big picture haters and rock out to good uncensored tunes if you dont like howard replays.
Howard TV is completely worth the money. IF you want it, if you don’t stop fn bitching. WAHHHHHH Howard TV costs money, WAHHHHHH they are on vacation. The break should give you something to look forward too for when they get back. You guys need constant mind stimulation, go to fn pornhub lol.
I just got back from two weeks of Army training and missed a lot of shows. I have gone to GREAT LENGTHS to be able to listen to the show when I’m at work (I work full time for the National Guard) I WAS listening online but after about three weeks the techies blocked me. I got a Stiletto but couldn’t pick up the signal in my building soooooo, I started recording shows on my Stiletto which works sometimes. I really don’t care what the programming is-I just want to hear it-I commute 120 miles round trip every day and it sure makes the time go by when I don’t have to think about the drive. Like another poster said, there is so much more on Sirius that you can listen to-just change the damn station!
It seems to me that the Howard Stern Radio show is now just one big ad for the Howard TV service. I’m sick of the calls that tout it as the “best thing ever”. They must be plants. The radio show should come first and we don’t want to hear four hour commercials daily for Howard TV. They never did that when they were on E.
Well they didn’t really have to “sell” E to you back then. It was free. But it wasn’t like they didn’t mention E back then… they were always talking about the “E cameras” this and that/
Lots of guys who are in their 50s and have been successful in their careers take early retirement. Stern could’ve done that, too. I am glad the show is still on, and because I travel a lot for work, am sooo glad it’s on Sirius. Try listening to terrestrial radio in rural areas… it’s beyond awful.
Maybe I am just an easily-pleased simpleton, but I find most of what is offered on H100 and H101 is entertaining and well worth the money. When I don’t like it, all the other channels await.
And, so what if H-TV is heavily promoted? Stern’s a businessman, and business people have to set sales goals and meet or exceed them, and therefore have to advertise.
It’s one thing to promote Howard TV but to gear all the bits and stuff towards what will be good on Howard TV just plain sucks. Everything ends with “You will have to watch this on Howard TV to believe it” SUCKS
I don’t mind mentions but the show has turned in to HOward TV praise calls and mentions most segments. We get it. So what Deb? So what it’s a radio show, not a TV show. Stern’s a businessman? So am I. Big fucking deal.
