George Carlin has died
A comic legend has died. George Carlin died Sunday evening from heart failure. Carlin had a history of health problems over the years. He was 71.
George Carlin is easily in my Top 5 comedians list [very close to the top, if not all the way at the top]. Knowing he was getting older, I kept telling myself to go see him perform in recent years. I never did and now I’m pretty disappointed and saddened by his passing. Rest In Peace George, no longer will you have to get pissed off at all the humans doing and saying the dumbest things.

Like i said on my blog today, he had a routine for ANYTHING you can think of!!!
Along with Lenny Bruce and Richard Pryor, he was one of the trinity that DEFINED comedy as we now know it. Seinfeld AT HIS BEST is Carlin Lite…and i turned on too late to hear if they did anything about him when they started the show, so i’ll have to wait until i get off work & listen to the replay tonight.
Now, this dude who is depressed & spend his parents’ money on weed just might be the next Carlin:)

I was heartbroken to learn of his passing this morning. Seven Dirty Words was the first comedic record I ever bought (at the tender age of 12) and he was also the first “real” comic I had the honor of seeing live. Brilliance!
RIP Mr. Carlin. You were the master of language and in a league of your own! No one even comes close.

He was one funny asshole. His outlook on religion will be surely missed by myself and his fans.
George was a TRUE legend and should be remembered as a comic and philosopher!

Carlin was my #1. I’ve been virtually fucking speechless over this. I too kept telling myself to get around to seeing him live but sadly I never did. Having read his books, and been listening to his albums/watching his specials since I was like 9, its pretty fucking hard knowing he’s gone. George, you will be missed brother. Make em laugh as hard up there as ya have done us for so many years.

Good riddance to an annoying old fuck. That tired complaining routine of his was old before it got started. I know its common for a bunch of people to pile on to someone after they died and say how great he was, but seriously, the guy sucked ass. Who wants to spend money to hear some old asshat complain about government, religion, shit…I could save the money and go visit my dad if I wanted to hear that.

I find it ironic that so many people in various websites have said something similar to ‘keep em laughing in heaven george!’…I doubt there is ANY way he is in Heaven. That anti-religious nutcase is definately burning a slow death in the darker pits of Hades…There probably is a brick wall with a spotlight he is standing in front of…

I didnt agree with many of his views but he made great humor finding the ironic things in the world.
I also find it funny when the same person uses two didn’t names to post a comment making it look like its more than one person. Nice try “Fred” or “Left Nut”
