I was listening to Jim Brewer tonight & he said he had heard from Artie in Iraq….how much do you want to bet Artie gains 20 pounds instead of losing the 20 he is counting on?/?

  3. EminemsRevenge Says:

Comedians Artie Lange, Nick DiPaolo, Jim Florentine and Dave Attell to Keep Troops in Stitches on USO Tour to Persian Gulf

ARLINGTON, Va., Jun. 30, 2008 – Comedians Artie Lange, Nick DiPaolo, Jim Florentine and Dave Attell to unite and entertain troops stationed in the Persian Gulf as part of a USO/Armed Forces Entertainment tour. Brought together to bring laughter and a well-deserved break for U.S. troops, the group will visit multiple military posts, sign autographs, pose for photos and bring their unique blend of comedy to service members stationed overseas. Gary Dell’Abate of Sirius Satellite Radio will serve as the tour’s emcee.

Known for their outspoken commentary and antics, the foursome has performed stand-up comedy for audiences all over the world. Pooling their talents to support America’s armed forces, the group will mesmerize thousands of service men and women with their no-holds-barred comedy and social satire. The tour, fittingly entitled “Operation Mirth,” is the first USO tour for Lange and Florentine, the second for DiPaolo, who toured to Japan in 2004, and the fourth for Attell, who has toured with the USO since 2005.

“All of my USO tours have been eye opening,” says Attell. “I’ve learned so much about myself and about our troops from each tour I’ve taken. I’ll always come up short when I think about everything they do for us and am committed to doing my part in bringing them laughter.”

Lange, who can be heard every day on Howard Stern’s Sirius Radio show, is one of the funniest stand-up comedians in the business. Born and raised in New Jersey, Lange has starred and appeared in several movies and television shows. His film credits include “Beer League,” “Elf,” “Old School” and “Dirty Work,” while on television he recently appeared on “Rescue Me,” and “Entourage.” When he is not performing stand-up to sold-out crowds throughout the U.S., Lange is putting the finishing touches on his first book, “Too Fat to Fish,” which will be released in November.

Former radio host for New York’s 92.3 FM, DiPaolo is an accomplished stand-up comedian, writer and actor. Known for his sharp wit and brutal honesty, he began his career in Boston and before long was embraced by audiences worldwide. In addition to headlining comedy clubs worldwide, DiPaolo has performed stand-up on “The Tonight Show,” “Late Night with David Letterman” and the “Late Show with Conan O’Brien.” A two-time Emmy Award nominee for his writing on “The Chris Rock Show,” he has guest-starred in “The Soprano’s,” “Lucky Louie” and Artie Lange’s “Beer League.” DiPaolo also appears regularly on “The Howard Stern Show” and the “Opie and Anthony” radio program, and can be seen on Blog TV twice each week.

Best known as ‘Special Ed’ and ‘Bobby Fletcher’ on Comedy Central’s smash hit show “Crank Yankers,” Florentine is an established stand-up comic, actor and writer. Having encountered widespread success for his comedy CD, “Terrorizing Telemarketers,” a compilation of personal recordings which feature wisecracking phone calls aimed directed at telemarketers, Florentine’s comedy CD series peaked at No. 2 on amazon.com and charted on the Billboard Internet Sales Chart. In 2008, Florentine released his newest stand-up CD “Anger is a Gift.” In addition to his live stand-up CDs, he appears regularly on “The Howard Stern Show” and headlines comedy clubs around the globe. He has also appeared on Comedy Central’s “Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn.”

Having taken the stage in December ’07 in his first solo HBO special in over a decade entitled “Dave Attell: Captain Miserable,” Attell was named one of the 25 Funniest People in America by “Entertainment Weekly.” The creator and former host of the hit Comedy Central series “Insomniac with Dave Attell,” he enjoyed four seasons traveling with his show in the states and taping several hour-long “Insomniac” specials overseas. Since his departure, Attell has embarked on a thirty-five city comedy tour, which ended in Las Vegas with him hosting a two-hour special for Comedy Central featuring comedians Sean Rouse, Greg Geraldo and Dane Cook. When not on the road, he performs at the Comedy Cellar in New York City and makes appearances on “The Late Show with David Letterman,” “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” and “The Howard Stern Show.”

The producer of Sirius Satellite Radio’s “The Howard Stern Show,” Dell’Abate, also known as “Baba Booey,” has worked with Howard Stern since his days on WNBC in 1984. Often the brunt of jokes and the subject of song parodies on the popular program, he also ensures the show runs smoothly. In addition to serving as the show’s producer, Gary also co-hosts SIRIUS Satellite Radio’s “The Wrap Up Show” and “The Friday Show.”

According to the U.S. Department of Defense, there are currently 1.4 million active-duty U.S. service members and 1.2 million members of the National Guard and Reserves, with many serving overseas and most serving away from home. USO entertainment tours are essential to fulfilling the USO’s mission of boosting troop morale. Entertainers who recently participated in USO tours include Dane Cook, Brad Garrett, Bill Bellamy, Tommy Ford, Rodney Perry, Eric Mabius, Hilarie Burton and Mike Vogel.

AT&T, Inc. is the official telecommunications sponsor of USO entertainment tours. For a list of recent USO tours visit http://www.uso.org/whatwedo/entertainment. To find out how to support the troops, visit http://www.uso.org.

  6. Allison Says:

Where are the pictures? Howardstern.com sucks btw. It could be so much better. Gary could totally be emailing pictures to Jason for the website. Yeah Eminems, I haven’t heard any updates either.

  7. artiefan Says:

sorry y’all — just trying to make money over here at the moment LOL , my apologies… no live show weeks are boring!

  8. Allison Says:

Huh? I meant the pictures from the plane or helicopter that they all took down, or pictures of them over there. I remember Gary saying once that since Howard Tv couldn’t go he was gonna take a camera. And Zero news updates? No one in contact with them? Not for nothin, but I can only hear the Kenneth Keith story so many times.

  9. artiefan Says:

oh… i thought you meant my comment about adding stuff to the site… I have not confirmed they are in Iraq .

  10. Allison Says:

Nah, I am not that demanding of a person lol

  11. EminemsRevenge Says:

    Is there something as ANTI-kudos???

Artie, Baba Booey and Robin’s boytoy are all putting their asses on the line…you’d THINK that Howard 100 would do something to honour them instead of playing History of Stern, which we’re gonna hear ad infinitum anywhay!

  12. Crash Says:

Howard 100 is a joke….they are literally there as a joke, why else would your news team be an uptight jew virgin, a high pitched cyclops looking fucker & a angry Canadian with a “huge penis”
They aren’t there to cover news, but rather as a running parody of other news groups!

  13. Artie Says:

uhhh, y’know, heh heh heh, robin is very generous, sure, but-ummm, y’know, “legendary”

  14. Crash Says:

And just because Artie isn’t allowed to say it anymore I would like to say that high pitch Mike is a fag, but not just any fag…the weirdest, faggiest queer fag ever….FIIIIRE!

  15. jb Says:

I HATE WHEN THE GO ON VACATION.

    I NEED NEW PROGRAMMING.

PUT BUBBA ON IN THE MORNING.

  16. Artie's Taint Says:

Bubba in the morning?? My SIRIUS would go flying out my window, for good. Fuck Bubba. I don’t pay a monthly fee to listen to that white trash mother fucker, I pay to listen to Howard. I’m not happy he’s on vacation, but lets face it, he’s going to go out a lot, and the history is IMO fun to listen to.
FUCK BUBBA and Horse Voiced Farrell.

  17. Artie Says:

Listen, y’know, heh heh heh, uhhhh, we’re on vacation, uhh, y’know, Howards legendary, but-ummm

  18. artiefan Says:

Bubba isnt so bad… everyone needs a little W.T. in their diet. lol

  19. Artie's Taint Says:

Maybe Bubba ain’t so bad, but I don’t pay my monthly fee to listen to that shit. I pay to hear the KOAM. End.

  20. artiefan Says:

    Agreed

  21. Allison Says:

    Also agreed.

  22. Crash Says:

Folks better start looking around because Howard’s jew ass is going to be out the door for good before long….

  23. Allison Says:

When that day comes, that he isn’t on air anymore, it will be more of a major lifestyle change for me. I don’t know that I would want to invest another 20 years in some crap ass “zoo” type of morning show. Stern show is the best ever for me.

  24. artiefan Says:

I think I have been subconsciously “letting go” of the Howard Stern show. Knowing that it may be over in a few years. Part of me thinks Howard would like to just go chill somewhere and swim in all that money, but at the same time can Howard really be happy not working? And not broadcasting? I somehow doubt it. And that brings up the other reality, when does he get too old to keep up the show how it is.

  25. Allison Says:

I dunno man, that’s gonna be a tough fuckin break up for me when they leave the air.

  26. Biker Says:

Howard is already starting to sound like cross between his old man Ben and Imus. Listen closely and you will agree. Howard is so full of himself lately it’s sad.
