FCC Approves Sirius-XM merger in 3-2 vote
HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE!
Thank god this has finally come to an end. It took so fucking long that I almost didn’t care how it ended as long as it did end! Whether you are a democrat or a republican you gotta thank the Republicans for coming through on this one 
“Federal regulators formally approved the merger of the nation’s only two satellite radio operators Friday, ending a 16-month-long drama closely watched by Washington and Wall Street.
The Federal Communications Commission voted 3-2 to approve the buyout, with the tiebreaker coming Friday night from Republican commissioner Deborah Taylor Tate.”

Thank you so much for putting the news of the merger online. None of the “Howard” sites, or even Sirius have acknowledged it yet. Of course, that was the reason it was announced after close of business on Friday.

NOW the XMers can hear Stern’s naive Reagan hero-worshipping.
Reagan not only stacked up the FCC with these moralistas intent of getting rid of Howard, but he was a LOSER when it came to foreign policy—Afghanistan, jazz, rock n’ roll and blue jeans brought down the wall…Reagan and George the First MADE A DEAL WITH IRAN for them to keep the hostages so that HE could get elected…and war wise: Reagan punked when the Marines got bombed in Lebanon, then started a “war” with Grananda—a couple of Boy Scout troops could’ve won that one!!!
ONLY thing Reagan accomplished was free cheese, crack, and AIDS.

Im sure Reagan also thought the country would be better without having to waste all that cheese on a bunch of unemployed bums…that only wanted to smoke crack and spread AIDS for fun. Blame everyone but yourselves for your plight, thats a song i have heard sung for quite a long time. Change your tune, your records broken.
Now, back to the matter at hand, YES! Finally the merger went through and this means they will actually…well MAYBE…now have some cash flow. At least the rants by Howie will stop since now he has no more enemies…Unless….
The future of an Artie Lange/Gary Delabate talk show AFTER Howie retires looks brighter. Cant wait.

I am trying to catch up on the show, did they even MENTION the merger went through???? All I heard when I tuned in was Robin/Jim breaking up…Feh. No one can live with that nutcase (apply that to either one).

They mentioned it really early on with Stern saying that he wasnt going to comment on it until its definitely done.
