The Other Side of Laughter
The Hudson Reporter has published Part 1 of a two part profile on Artie Lange. The article covers his upcoming book, his family and introduction to Stern.
Artie talking about Too Fat to Fish,
“It’s not an autobiography in the sense that it is not anything linear,” said Lange recently. “It’s going to have about 17 to 20 short stories that are real stories. It’s just about different things that happened to me at different times in my life, starting from the time that I was born, to the last chapter, which is going to be about the [recent] trip that I took to Afghanistan.”

The article was really good, looking forward to part II, and of course, the book. This article just reminds me of what an all around great guy Artie is.

Stern may be turning into a dried up old yenta, but that K-Rock jacket story reminds me why people would take a bullet for him—he’s ALWAYS been a decent guy at heart.
What’s all the bitching about them taking 3 weeks off???
5 hours a day, 4 days a week, ALL new material—if it was television they’d have done two seasons in a month!!! And the vacations always yields great material.
