Artie Rumors
Rumors have been spreading around from Perez Hilton to SFN about Artie cancelling shows / appearances this week. Rehab rumors are abound.
Right now there is no word from the Artie camp on why. Teddy has confirmed to me that the shows are cancelled and I am awaiting official word.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed its nothing bad.

Hmm, there is supposed to be some announcement on Monday but Chrissy, Bob Levy’s wife, said it would hit the papers tomorrow.

let’s hope it’s not the heroin. i, too, have tickets for saturday night’s show at foxwoods. i’ve just gotten off the phone with them at 7:20 PM ET and they are saying the show is NOT cancelled.
Rehab wouldn’t be a bad thing, if it’s that. And I like the wedding theory, too…LOL
i hope the fat fuck’s ok and this is a big nothing. i really do want to see this show!

The show is canceled - thats what i was referring to up above. I am pretty disappointed since i was gonna be hanging backstage and stuff but I am more worried about Artie at this point, that he is okay.

On the air last week he mentioned something about recieving blood test results early this week . It pretty much got ignored by everyone in studio. He made some comment on his surprise at being ignored.

Howard Stern’s sidekick is finally in rehab. Artie Lange, who’s long overindulged with drugs and drink, was scheduled to attend close pal Bob Saget’s Comedy Central roast on Sunday night, but never made it to LA. Instead, he checked himself into an intensive outpatient rehab program. A source said Lange “felt awful for not being there for Bob, but needed to make his health a priority.” Lange also canceled his stand-up shows this weekend, but plans to return to his regular gig on Stern’s Sirius radio show when it returns from hiatus. Lange’s rep, Lewis Kay, confirmed the news.

A week long rehab?? Even if they were on a 2 week vacation. 2 weeks? BULLLLLSHIT. I hope it’s not something serious healthwise, and they are just saying it’s rehab for publicity.

This guys is a freaking mess. Howard is enabling him and needs to say enough…..Artie will eventully kill himself as he has no self control and can’t handle the pressure. He flipped out when the movie came out last year, now the pressure of a book dealine is killing him. If he serious about his health he would leave the show( for a short period) and stop his road act for a while. This two faced bitched on Dave Chappell when he left cpmedy central and least he knew when to say enough.

I had tickets to aug 30th in cape cod. Myself and my wife and friends of ours decided to make a small vacation around it. Now I hear that show is cancelled too. Artie has become a whining baby on the radio, and has ruined my whole trip. I work hard and hardly get any vacation. I have finally given up on that fat bastard. The guy makes millions of dollars and is always crying the blues….FUCK HIM
