Isn’t it slightly insulting to blue collar guys that Artie always includes them en masse in his intolerant, homophobic comments? To infer ‘all blue collar guys this’ or ‘all blue collar guys that’, simply means he’s a big pussy who needs to diffuse his own hatred by including an entire segment of society by playing to even more stereotypes…i.e. blue collar guys are uneducated homophopes. (which most aren’t, to be honest)
Artie should stand solidly behind his own personal hate and not pretend his comments are intended for any particular group.
Also, when did Sal get so funny? Someone must have written that roast bit for him.

I actually thought that Sal was always hysterical during roasts… i think there was one where he wasn’t so great but did have a good end joke or something… I havent gotten to see his stand up yet tho..

It’s pretty funny that Eric the Ungrateful thinks he’s entitled to be on the radio. He has a lot of balls to get angry when nobody cares about his perosnal life. Hey Eric, it’s not Howards job to work things out between you and Johnny.

I think the payoff for keeping Eric off the show for a few months would be bigger than having him on every day. Think of how his life would crumble without the show. Is Howard just using him to fill time? They can think of something else other than having that little SOB on for 10 minutes every day.

Ponyboy, I agree 100%. I believe Artie does have alot of personal hate, but he will never state “that’s just me”, instead saying shit like “that’s the Italian in me” or “that’s the Jersey in me”. What bullshit.
I wouldn’t go so far to say he is a complete racist, although obviously his Italian father and uncles were/are. Old Italian guys notoriuosly H-A-T-E da’ blacks like nobody’s biz.
He is definitely homophobic, although his time on the HS has forced him to tone it down a bit, after more than one homophopic on-air rant.
