He threw up again this morning. Artie said he is starting to get nervous, but stated that he is not a hypocondriot. Artie said the doctor thought he might have a bleeding ulcer. Howard brought up the Dr. Sarno book again saying the ulcer is caused by stress and he is right (from what i’ve experienced).
Howard heard reports of Artie still overeating. Apparently at Art’s signing last night in Lake Grove, LI, someone brought over 15 cheeseburgers and Artie ate like 6 (also drank a few shakes). Artie sent Teddy out for more burgers afterwards. He also took a helicopter again.
Artie got pulled over yesterday and received 2 tickets for not wearing a seat belt and an expired licence.
Gary said Artie has been out 12 times in the last 2 years. Howard said he doesn’t mind when Artie is out. But it does bother him when he is out doing other things on those days.
Robin said Artie could have went to the doctor after the show. No egg on your face Robin? Sounds like you were dead wrong about him using again.

I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooored by this woman they keep carting in. What is she famous for? Man i consider myself sort of a movie buff and I have yet to see anything with her in it in my 135 years of movie watching.
I have turned the show off and am listening to those ’shreds’ videos on Youtube….Hilarious (but a bit long).

Ulcer–Couldn’t agree more. And I was reading all the posts from yesterday and I think you guys are wrong, those that say Artie’s days are numbered. Howard LOVES him, as do the fans, he’s great for the show, etc. Look at all he’s gone through and put them through and he’s STILL there. At this point I think for there to be a Howard Stern show without Artie, Art will have to either die from one of his vice’s, or kill someone in the studio, resulting in his termination and jail time. Otherwise, fat boy is here to stay, and we’ll all be happier for it.
I agree, they’ll never can Artie unless he croaks. Even when he’s out sick he provides most of the entertainment.

Yeah I just went back to the car and heard some of the Carol Alt interview. Do you think some people realize how insanely boring they are? It’s amazing to me when celebs come on the show, or any show for that matter, and it’s almost like they aren’t even trying to be entertaining. They think just their mere presence is good enough.
