Howard Stern Show 2-2-09

Good morning everybody!

- Artie thought that Bruce Springsteen killed during the Super Bowl halftime show.

- Artie won $10,000 gambling a  ‘two team teaser’. He used a different bookie than the one who didn’t pay him that last time. Artie said he is still fraternizes with that bookie.

- Howard brought up an observation by Gary who thought Artie might be getting a star attitude. Artie spilled Hi-C last week, announced it to Gary but left to do the wrap-up show without cleaning it up. Artie claims he sopped most of it up first. Gary said it was a big spill. Artie claims it was innocent. Gary quoted Artie in saying “let an intern clean it up”. Gary said that interns say that Artie’s area is the messiest area. Artie apologized.

- Flavor Flav in studio.

    Just heard he won 10K

  2. Heidi says:

Wonder how much H that is, eh?

  3. Heidi says:

I thought Bruce was good – any thoughts?

  4. artiefan says:

I thought he was good. Although no “Born in the USA”?

  5. Pgh Pete says:

HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!! Just another trophy to take back to the greatest city!

  6. Artie's Taint says:

he corrected the “Hi-C” reference to “Hawaiian Punch”

    Hi-C is code for Coke
    and
    H-Punch is code for heroin

  7. Mike says:

Bruce rocked out at half time!

  8. Artie's Sweaty Balls says:

I always thought Pittsburg was the armpit of the US. Sorry Pete, but I hate the Steelers but that is because I am a disgruntled Patriots fan (I hate that I couldn’t even listen to the show and Artie talk about the Giants after last year’s SB. I couldn’t listen to sports talk either). I glad he didn’t get his money from the bookie last year. I can’t believe Artie didn’t pick Brady as the first QB to start a team with…

Congrats Pitt! Now you have to fill up the other hand….

  9. Artie's Sweaty Balls says:

Oh and Bruce was great. Like Howard said, I am glad Bruces was having a good time too.

  10. Heidi says:

Bruce was great but nothing like Sir Paul was!!

  11. artiefan says:

Wow nothing to talk about here today huh? :)

  12. Alpharaider says:

I missed everything-the entire Super Bowl. I won’t have a day off until Valentines Day-at least 14 hour days every day:
Alpha needs a damn vacation-any suggestions on where to go?

Oh yeah-congrats Pete! Even though I didn’t get to watch the game I was in Pittsburgs corner.

  13. Gus says:

I’m kinda hung up on the whole Artie spilling punch debate. I’m amazed that Artie tries to compare that to things Howard does and gives him shit about his own bathroom and his limo. What the fuck is that? That’s the equivalent of my boss telling me to keep my desk clean and me saying, “What about your desk?” That shit wouldn’t float.

  14. Pgh Pete says:

What better vacation spot then, the “Steel City” itself?! I can show you around, have a couple Iron City beers, pick up some Primanti Brothers sandwhiches, and we can tear up the town! how bout it alpha?

  15. Sal Monella says:

People outside of the Northern East Coast region could give an F about Bruce. His music may be decent, but he is no hero like New Jerseyans portray him. Who the F does he think he is telling me to put down my guacomole and chicken fingers when he came on stage!

  16. Heidi says:

Flava flave was in Private Parts ? I need to watch that movie again.

  17. Orlando Jones says:

i friend requested everyone on Depace’s friend list….

  18. Alpharaider says:

Thanks for the offer there, Pete, but I’m thinkin’ of a more tropical location where I can put my toes in the sand and play in the ocean;) I’m freezin’ my ass off right now!

  19. djtr says:

i think flava was in the backstage scene in Private Parts when Howard was in the Fartman suit.

  20. artiefan says:

Yea he was and his line was “Oh snap” (snickering)

  21. Artie's Sweaty Balls says:

‘raider, if you just want to be warm and relax and really do not care where you are going, just try to find a last minute deal (I went to St Kitts for like $599 a person with everything, but I left 5 days after I booked the trip). Or you can go to Artie’s FL spa and get wheat-grass enemas for $30K.

  22. Artie's Sweaty Balls says:

Sorry AF too much non-Baby Gorilla comments. The fat bastard only annoyed me once today…

  23. Alpharaider says:

No wheat-grass for me! Soooo, when’s the Gorilla goin’ back to finish his “rehab”? He said that he was goin’ back because he paid so much for it but I haven’t heard I peep out of him about it since he first came back from break. He was kinda quiet today. I have to listen to the replay-missed the Hawaiian punch thing. That is a nasty damn drink, by the way. You can’t even make it good with vodka!

  24. “Have an intern do it.”

    What a jackass.

  25. Springsteen was mediocre at best! but the Super Bowl game was one of the Top Five!!!

  26. Arties Favorite Herpes Laced Hooker says:

Came back from NJ and saw metallica so I didnt see much of the superbowl. Ill have to download it tonight and find out. Born in the USA is kind of an anti usa song, so the songs he picked are cool to me.

  27. artiefan says:

Hanoi Springsteen? Id like to think of it as an anti-vietnam song… if it really were an anti-american song then id probably hate him more than i already do…woops dont tell artie that.

  28. Arties Favorite Herpes Laced Hooker says:

thats what I mean it was an anti moment in our history. Dont really want to get into politics but I think he just wanted a positive super bowl. Im a big bruce fan, I just want to think what it would have been like if he played The River?

  29. artiefan says:

Thats true, I was really happy he didn’t say any political stuff.
