The show is on vacation. Get off the radio and try listening to music, maybe read a good book. You never know, you might just find there are plenty of things to enjoy in life besides the Howard Stern show. For those of you working, try not to kill your boss this week.

This week is Laughing with the Stars. Each day will be hosted by a different celebrity. Today’s Best Of Show is being hosted by Jerry O’Connell.

Thursday’s Show

- Artie will be at the Bruce Springsteen concert tonight at the Meadowlands.

- Dr. Drew and Artie Lange drama continues. A caller asked Dr Drew on his show about Artie and Drew dismissed Artie’s current rehab system. He said that they have hired cops to watch people and it doesn’t do anything. It may temporize things for awhile but then they go back. Drew says that Drew refuses to treat him, in regards to the accusation that Drew is just trying to get Artie cast on the show. Listen to it here

Wednesday’s Show

- Artie Lange’s second book will be called Scootch. Howard and Robin didn’t like the name.

- Artie has his blackberry back from his mom. Is his rehab moving too fast?

- Artie’s softball team lost 15-2 last night. He started to rant about having girls on the team, more specifically, people that don’t know how to play.

In other show news

- Jesse James in studio today promoting his new show, “Jesse James is a dead man.” Artie rode a Harley Sportster in California, he said it was one of the most peaceful things he has ever done.

- Captain Janks’ attorney has stopped working for Janks.

- Lisa G. went on her date Saturday afternoon with a sports anchor. 2.5 hr lunch. Lisa said she didn’t get to talk about herself, more business talk. She said he is a nice person and is attractive to her. They have been exchanging emails. He gave her a kiss on the cheek. Another date is scheduled for Friday. She said probably no making out on 2nd date and definitely no sex. Any bet takers? Artie’s sister, Stacey Lange will take her shopping next week.

Tuesday’s Show

- Artie talked about being on SNL / MadTV on the same night. He said he didn’t know he was going to do that. He went to see Norm MacDonald and was backstage during the last sketch when he was told anyone famous needs to walk out on the set during it. He was also told to go back on stage during the end goodbyes.

He went to SNL and the after party with no bodyguards. He said he drank water all night, with no temptation. However, he is smoking a lot of cigarettes. He said he wanted to invite a 25 yr old girl to the show but he didn’t have a cell phone (even though he has 7 of them). So he had to borrow Craig Gass’ cell phone to call the girl.
