^ yah, i was thinking the same thing, that sketch was awful, no wonder the show was cancelled. I thought Artie’s appearance on SNL was pretty cool tho.
Am I the only one who liked Mad TV. Not all of them, but there was a couple years where i was watching the reruns a lot. With that being said, SNL had many years of shit on Saturday nights. I dont really watch them and its probably been a decade since i watched it regularly.
Oh don’t get us wrong — MadTV is still much better than SNL — SNL hasn’t been funny since Eddie Murphy left. I think each generation learns anew how much the show continues to suck.
Not a Willard fan either — Fernwood2Night sucked too.
Almost watched Mad TV this week, but it’s become almost as tedious as SNL!
BTW, since i don’t have a Sirius clock radio [do they make one?] i wake up to Imus in the mornings…he’s so damn boring that i pop out of bed just to turn him off…is Stern aware that he has TWO bulldogs???
Wow that was probably the funniest sketch I ever seen on Mad TV. Of course I never watched….
Oh my god that was awful. Plodding, predictable, and not in the least bit funny in any way, with the possible exception of Art’s sign-off.
And that stupid fucking laugh track!
I don’t blame the l’il gorilla of course.

Wow. That was dumb.
MAD TV was and will always be the poor man’s SNL, and since SNL pretty much sucks these days, well..no wonder MAD TV was cancelled.

RE: Michelle Obama & Stern—Robin Givens got him tysoning<–SHE was an itty-bitty AND Michelle O is 20X the times ANY woman on the Stern show but RQ…
Yea, pretty lame. I thought he was actually gonna be on the show.
I liked Mad TV when it first came out for of course, White Mama and then later Miss Swan and Michael McDonald as Stuart.
But I pretty much stopped watching after Artie left.
Mad TV always just made me miss In Living Color.
