I really hope that ARTIE could just yell over Howard during the porn chicks interview just A LITTLE MORE. I love Howard pausing and then saying “umm…ok so anyway ” after one of ARTIE’S UNFUNNY COMMENTS
I like how Artie tried to deflect the fact that Gary called him gay for the poem by saying “Cry doesn’t rhyme with ride asshole” when he used “try” at the end of his poem in the first place. What a douche.

Another porn whore interview, huh? YAAWWWWWWNNNN. Same questions, same answers as the last porn skank Howard interviewed. Anybody relevant on the show today?
On Howard’s Letterman appearance, just a couple of observations. This time he finally looked like an adult, and not some middle-aged guy trying to look 25, which is the usual outfit. It only took 20 years, but Ralph finally get its right.
Also, on TV, Howard’s slight lisp is way more pronounced than on radio. I think it’s an overbite / dental thing.
Overall, he did a fine job, it was funny. Typical Howard on Letterman.
The dancing was HOORRIBBLLE. I thought he was gonna bomb the whole appearance right then. But he regrouped. The wedding pictures were a good touch.
I have noticed the same lisp thing but with Ralph. When he is in the studio, that lisp is really over the top. When he is at home on the isdn line, you almost can’t here it.
I always thought he lisp came out real bad on TV. Radio he can control the EQ the right way. Not as much treble.

I’m really sick and tired of them talking anything to do with politics, Rush Limbaugh, Don’t Ask / Don’t Tell being upheld by the Supreme Court as a Howard 100 News story which has NOTHING to do with what’s happening on the show…
…This show has gone RADICALLY left on-air. Left of MSNBC. And that’s saying something. They may have always politically felt this way, but, for them to have come out (so to speak) on air this way, and having everybody from 9/11 conspiracy nut Jesse Ventura to the latest celebutard du jour on to destroy anyone who doesn’t support their political agenda…
They are doing this because they believe they are playing to their supposed audience, and it’s not hip or cool to be anything resembling conservative in their world. This is all calculated and totally insincere, imo.
I’m sick and tired of having to turn off the show three times a day, and not listen to most of Robin’s newscast because they have become an extension of the Democrat National Committee.
I respect their right to have an opinion, and other people here to have theirs, but, this makes for excruciatingly bad radio.
The “Clair” call is hilarious. The guy sounds like such a douche. I’m all for people calling shit out instead of kissing Howard’s ass, but he was a fucking idiot. He perfectly backed up Howard’s arguement not to go on Letterman, the way he analyzed the shit out of it. And the “animal activist” stuff was ridiculous.

Howard’s show is getting a little too serious nowadays. It’s not light hearted dumb ass humor anymore. Artie is always degrading someone, whether they asked for it or not. Sal and Richard have disappeared. Howard is constantly complaining about Leno.
The last few times Gilbert has come on, he just does some black voice that is ignorant and insulting. He knows nothing about anything in pop culture from the past 30 years, and he is in show business. I can see why he was not on for a whole year.
I am curious also as to why Richard and Sal are no longer on the show…It seems that they started getting a little popularity and King Howie nipped it in the buds. I always enjoyed hearing Richard and Sal chime in from time to time…
“WE” as in non-conservatives. I think it’s fine that Howard let’s that idiot John The Stutterer do his thing, doesn’t bother me at all, because he does not represent me. I don’t think he’s funny, but that’s just me. Non-conservative is a wide spectrum, from middle of the road to extreme left, I’m probably more in the middle. Rush is still a retard.

I think, based on Sal and Richard’s last couple of bits that they have just kind of run out of front line stuff. The tradio, and biz baz calls are gold but maybe a little less of R&S are good for now.
Gilbert should be on every other week for an extended time.

Richard’s not on the show? It was only 2-3 weeks ago that Howard was congratulating him on his record contract. Sal was on 2 weeks ago for messing up the Bob Levy game.

I always notice a pattern in fans and their comments , in particular about Rich n Sal and Gilbert. Gilbert has the same “fuck being a comedian for the mainstream” that Norm MacDonald has and I love it. Rich N Sal are buffoons who lack any originality and show it by doing prank calls and boring song parodies with no funny creative lines. “800 dollar wine” is hilarious but that wasn’t RNS………”Beat My Wife” makes me chuckle but anyone hanging with his buddies and a few beers could make that 3rd grade humor up. Overall, I love Gilbert and actually found a torrent with about 25 diff GILBERT appearances on Stern over the last 20 years and it’s hilarious.
Artie got loud today as usual…..seemed over-excited about getting some “regular” ………get back on the H and quit the show

Howard was great on Letterman, especially his anti-Jay Leno rant, everything he said was 100% true. Sometimes I wish Howard would shut up for a minute though and let Dave ask a question here and there…
If you listen to the old replays, Howard has the worst lisp ever!! I think it’s funny how he gives Ralph shit about having one, when he sounds just like him without his high tech mic, that cuts it out and makes his voice 5 octaves deeper.

Like Artie was trying to point out today….the great thing about Stern’s Letterman appearance was all the personal inquiries. Dave is one of the most intensely private celebs ever. He just wants to show up, be funny for an hour, then race back to his cave. Howard bringing up Dave’s marriage repeatedly and even the Late Night wars was great, cause Dave doesn’t want to talk about anything personal to him.
I’ve been a Letterman fan for years and years (actually got to be in the studio audience last July) but I love seeing him squirm when asked about his private life.
