A big Stern Show and SBG fan, Corey, is undergoing a serious surgery today. I want to wish him all the best and please include him in your thoughts. Monday’s show:
- Howard proclaims Artie the gayest person on the show since he did have jizz on his chest. Artie tried to throw it back at Howard calling him the gayest for picking the next bachelorette but then he conceded.
- Artie loved The Hangover.
- 8 times now, Artie has put a Father’s Day card on his Dad’s grave. Inside the card he writes that he is on the Howard Stern show. (His father was a Howard fan)

- Artie’s relationship discussed this morning. Artie said things are going great with the girlfriend even though there were some issues since they are from different backgrounds. (She never saw Rocky and knew her name was that of his wife) She is in the process of moving back in with her parents and that a lot of her stuff was out his place. Artie said she wouldn’t be moving in with him. (She is moving over an hour away) Ralph called in and said they were going too fast and maybe she is like a new addiction. Robin said maybe its a distraction. Artie said that his therapist thinks things are moving too fast as well and agrees with the therapist and Ralph.
In LA last week, Artie bought her a necklace at Lazarro which cost under 15 grand.
Sirius iPhone App Update
- Howard acknowledged he is not on the Sirius iPhone app due to a contractual thing. The discussion turned it into Apple being the bad guy. But there is only one person to blame: Howard. He is in control of his contract.
I liked the one caller today who wanted to talk about the iPhone app. I’m paraphrasing but it went like this:
Caller: It’s great. I can get every Sirius channel but one, you.
Howard: Yeah.
Caller: Why?
Then some contractual rights talk but Artie basically let the cat out of the bag implying that they (probably Howard) don’t (doesn’t) want Apple making money off the Howard Stern show.
Yeah Poor Howard only making a hundred million a year …poor baby.

I am sick of Apple’s monopoly. Can only use Itunes with Ipod, not Rhapsody or Napster. Only get Sirius on iPhone. The next Zune coming out end of summer should give Ipod some competition. Creative makes awesome MP3/Video players.
As a former Rhapsody subscriber, I never spent much time on iTunes. But recently I have been using iTunes. Its a very good program, despite the pay for content but there are alot of free stuff on there and podcasts,videos.. Im not too pissed that iPhone doesn’t handle the other devices… at the same time, you can buy other devices for way less than iPhone. Whatever.
Also, I had learned how to rip the DRM from Rhapsody music. At that point, you can put it on any device you want.
Primary reason I don’t own an ipod or iphone, I refuse to be forced into the paradigm that is itunes. I know its very good, I have seen it in action, but there are plenty of other products just as good, and allow greater flexibility from a non-itunes perspective. On a related note, howard is being a greedy fuck about this.
Yea he is. And actually Apple only makes like 20% off of an App. Sirius app is free.
I am banning technology. I am going back to HAM and Shortwave radio.

Yea-poor baby has 0.0 self esteem and feels the need to buy his girlfriends’ affection. I dated a guy like him when I was about 19. He was 27 and made a nice living but had no clue how to relate to women. The guy took me to a very nice restaraunt and bought me an expensive necklace on the first date! It freaked me out and I only went out with him for about a month. I recently saw the poor bastard and he’s still doing the same thing-I don’t think there’s much hope for the gorilla’s new “relationship”.

After that guy called in about the iphone and Sirius, they went on a 15 minute infomercial for Sirius, everybody took their turn saying how great it is, all the great channels, Artie “again” rehashed the “when I have a party at my shore house, it’s great all day”

Have to admit there was a time when I thought Artie would be the perfect heir apparent to Howard once ol jew boy retired. Not any more. Listened to a lot of replays over the weekend and anyone who has to defend their comedy that much is just not very funny. This is coming from someone who wishes the old artie would come back, sans drugs. But I aint holding my breath.

I can assure there is no intentional allowance of antisemitism on this site. I do find it repulsive as well. However I am not gonna sit here and be the FCC. As far as housekeeping goes, I have a good auto-spam system in place and rarely check it. Sometimes it pulls legitimate users posts when a few links appear in it, I try and recover and publish them the best I can.
If I do delete posts with links in it at times it is because the links are just way off topic, or seem self promoting. It’s really time consuming to be on every ones ass and you have to admit we all have been offensive here. So I will try to allow as much freedom of speech as possible and if someone gets out hand I will point it out
