Artie Lange Mugshot

So everybody has been looking for the Artie Lange Mugshot. Let me tell you something – it does not exist. Well it does, in some police file in New Jersey, but you won’t be able to find it on the web.

Today I contacted the editor at The Smoking Gun website, who for years has been the top website for celebrity mug shots. Unfortunately, they replied telling me that they had already contacted the police in Tom’s River, NJ last week and were told that police does not make mugshots available to the public.

As I understand it (and I could be wrong), you will find different rules from state to state on whether mug shots are made available. Yes, they are in the public domain but whether they are obligated to make it public is a different story. You should be able to make the request in writing to get such information.

Maybe if there is someone out there that can dig a little deeper, we can probably bring Artie’s mug shot to the surface.

Updated: We do have a picture, here, of Artie just minutes before the accident

  1. fuck the BabyGorilla mugshots…right NOW i’m listening to RAL[rolf]PH the homo BITCHIN’ as usual…and RAW was da shit…fifty percent Eddie

  2. I’m not sure of the exceptions, but most states have laws to release the mug shots — the biggest restriction is that many place require the request in person. You go to the place where the person was arrested, they check your ID and run you for warrants, then for a fee they give you a copy.

Many places have the mug shots online for easy searching (like denton county, texas) … there are a number of fun mug shot sites, but I can’t find the one I really like…
