Has Artie thrown out a first pitch before? Even when you’ve thrown from 60′6″ before, if you haven’t done it in a while, it feels like 60 yards when you first get out there. I can’t imagine hime doing as bad a Gary though. I think he said before, and I agreed, that he’d just go out there and wing it as hard as he could. Who cares where it goes as long as it’s not a lame, off-target eephus.
The Bears draw a very local. minority crowd. He’ll be throwing out the first pitch in front of several hundred people, 98% of which won’t won’t even know who he is. I bet he doesn’t even show up.
