Artie loses Mayoral Race in Hoboken, NJ

In defense of Artie… He never really ran. It is unclear just how many votes Artie received. News stories said he got at least one. That one vote is most likely the creator of MayorArtie.com, a website devoted to getting Hoboken residents to vote for our Baby Gorilla.

What was Artie’s reaction to the news this morning?

“I couldn’t be more happier.”

Update

MayorArtie.com has published the following concession in the Hoboken Mayoral Race:

Even before the process of counting votes is complete, it is obvious that Hoboken has made its choice for Mayor. We therefore concede our loss to Dawn Zimmer. We thank her for running a clean, issue-oriented campaign against Artie Lange.

Finally, we want to thank Artie for continuing to put Hoboken first, even in light of this tragic loss.

We look forward to the next Artie Lange campaign.

Best,
Bob Abouey
Campaign Manager

According to this news report, Artie got 8 votes yesterday.

Better luck next time. BTW, Waaaaahhh! LOL. You should try to get people to write in Howard for a House Representative job! I just wonder if people would think it’s Howard Stern or Howard K. Stern running. That would be funny!
