New Artie Lange Penthouse Magazine Interview

A “new” Artie Lange interview just came out in Penthouse Magazine (article by Jessica Pilot). Unfortunately, the interview took place before the suicide attempt. Thanks to End of Radio for posting the pictures.

Wow. What an interview. Sure miss Artie…if it’s true he’s at home it’s good to know that he’s with people who love him. Sure missed him on the Stern show today when I was listening to Jeff the drunk’s insane rambling…I wanted to hear Artie in the background laughing his ass off and saying, “I want the only chair in the trailer — WAAA!”

  2. Sharon says:

I was thinking the same thing during Jeff’s rant. I miss Artie!

I really missed him yesterday when STP was in the studio. I feel like Artie would have had some great comments on scott wielands f’d up stories. I know he would not have held back at all. DAMN ARTIE…. The show has been great lately, but it needs you man…..

  4. get well artie says:

“im italian” check. “i was a longshoreman” check. “i love my mother” check. “im like belushi and farley” check. bookie, heroin dealer, jersey shore, check check check.

Jeff’s rant made me miss Artie today too. Had to go listen to old clips of Artie. Miss him so much. Pisses me off they don’t give more updates on how he’s doing. Howard is so mental, maybe this is the only way he feels he can protect Artie. Can’t believe the amount of tears I’ve shed over Artie being gone. Maybe I am the MENTAL one!

    Missing Artire.

Couting the days till his return

    Great interview.

I recently convinced my 60 yr old mother to read Too Fat to Fish despite the fact she had absolutely no idea who Artie was. She did the same thing I did – couldn’t put the book down until she finished it. She also laughed hysterically one minute and cried the next. He really had a knack for relaying stories. He is so talented yet so sad. I really hope that the UPDATE section at the bottom R hand side is accurate re: recovering with his mom/sis. My guess is its the only safe place to be for a while.

@ get well artie – thanks for the synopsis, now I don’t have to read it.

  9. Suzee says:

i miss artie too. i wish him & his family the best. i hope & pray that he gets well & get back to entertaining his fans. i wonder if he’s aware how much he’s loved? artie, i want you to know that you are naturally talented. i can tell, because everything you say just flow & it cracks your fans up. my kids were so upset & couldn’t understand why you would hurt yourself. the youngest is eighteen and they became fans since mad tv. as far as i’m concern, the stern show is not the same with you not being there. get well soon!

    you’re joking, right?

he’s never coming back to Howard, and if you havent realized that yet its time to open your eyes.

howard said in the article artie only says 5 words a day howard always disses attie any chance he can get i always knew he was jealous of atrie the way the fans love him the way he could connect with people

  12. artiefan says:

Yea, Artie isn’t too talkative these days, its sad. And yea, Howard does does usually switch the topic pretty quick however yesterday Howard did give Artie credit when he was talking about comedians who really make him laugh and he gave Artie some nice compliments.

  13. Orlando says:

    Artie, We miss you kid!

Matt: I really wanted to post this on the previous entry but there is no option to post a comment ???

I just wanted to tell “I Can’t Dance” to dance his ass off this site if he doesn’t like the “censorship” for Artie. I don’t even like to refer to it as censorship but rather support and genuine concern.

I am sure there are plenty of other sites he/she can go to.

  15. Jess says:

:-( Very tragic…. We miss you like crazy Artie.. the show just isnt the same.
