damn i missed SBG on SFRT. hopefully someone will post a few clips of it.
on a different note, i think adam corolla did a great job in the artie chair recently. that was the first time i thought that maybe it was time to move on to a replacement for artie. but for gods sake, no fucking jackie. one of the cool things about artie is hes a good deal younger than howie, robin and fred, and it brings a fresh dynamic to the show. jackie, while amusing, is old, stale and past his prime. love the guy, but that ship has sailed IMO.
ive always had a love / hate relationship with arties on air work. sometimes hes genius, other times i have to put an mp3 on because he gets so annoying. if he would reign himself in a little and get on the ball, id be interested in hearing him back in a limited role.
and just to throw this out there, i do tend to lean towards bob levys take on the whole situation. while i dont believe that gary, howard, etc were malicious, i do believe they werent looking out for arties well being – maybe even turning a blind eye to his health, and put the show first instead. i hope im wrong with that assumption. for all i know, howard, gary and tim may have pulled artie aside a hundred times and tried to help him out. but i cant help but wonder if howard was more concerned with the buzz the show was getting from arties meltdowns than he was with arties actual well being.
in any case, this site has been a cool place to visit and a nice break from SFN. thanks for taking the time to keep it going, even though i doubt you make a dime from it.
get well artie. theres a lot of us out here who can relate to your pain, and just want to see you get healthy (if youre not already too far gone).
and by the way, the yankees are a gang of fucking spoiled homos with the highest payroll of any team in any sport in the entire world, and a bunch of front running faggot fans who are too afraid to root for a team that might actually lose a pennant or two. LETS GO METS!

To The People’s Republic Forever – aren’t there other sites you can go to if you aren’t happy with this one? Not sure how you can suggest that Matt is the same as the other people who latched on to Artie. Somehow I suspect this website is more work than he would like and its not like its for big bucks or the opportunity to be a celebrity. What does he have to gain other than (1) a place for fans to come and share their feelings/comments (ya, I know its sounds corny but too bad) and (2) hopefully, the respect of Artie.

The show was fun. I’ll post some pictures. I didn’t do the show specifically to talk about Artie but there was 2 different times I think where I did talk about him briefly.

I sound like I got more of a frog in my throat. Near the end Jeff asks me about Artie’s old foxwood gig – you can compare the voice there. In the beginning I talk about the Penthouse article… so you can hear me then. After that it should be easy to tell.
yeah the other guys was very similar still mutt used to say “matt what do you think?, Jim what do you….” he didnt do that except for pedro.
I think he did it a few times in the beginning but yea later in the show we were just jumping in, or he would face us but not necessarily say it

Hey everyone my buddy got a call from Art in the last two weeks and said he seems to be doing well ,spending alot of time down the shore, unfortunately is done with the show. That’s all I got from my friend. Sorry will post more if I get more of an update.
