MGM Foxwoods Show

Thursday, March 11th, 2010

Many of you have been clamoring about Artie’ show listed on the MGM website for this summer. Unfortunately, this isn’t anything new. It’s been on there for a couple months already, which leads me to believe that it was scheduled before his unfortunate situation. In fact, I think it was a reschedule to the show he cancelled last year.

I will try to confirm the show for you all. I think they just forgot to cancel it.

UPDATE

Still waiting for a final confirmation, but I did call Artie’s old Road Manager. He said that the show was supposed to be “taken care of”, meaning, it was supposed to be canceled. He told me he would let me know the final verdict. Unless there is a summer surprise for us, I don’t think there is a show.

Jack and Coke on Comedy Central Tonight

Saturday, January 23rd, 2010

Not sure what to watch tonight? Well, Comedy Central is premiering Jack and Coke tonight at 10pm EST. I am not sure if it will be censored. I think they do uncensored material after midnight, so perhaps the 1am showing will be different? The full DVD is 90 minutes but only 60 minutes will air. Check your local listings.

Update: The 10pm showing was censored. I counted give or take a couple, 165 bleeps. LOL. The Secret Stash version at 1am EST will be uncensored.

Looking Back: Artie on Conan 11/11/08

Friday, January 22nd, 2010

Some recent web chatter about this Artie appearance on Late Night with Conan O’Brien from 2008 before Conan made the leap to the Tonight Show. Artie tells Conan he should have held out for a 40 million dollar payout to not work. Coincidently, Conan looks to get nearly that same amount in a payoff by NBC coming soon.

Reminder: Tonight is Conan’s last time as the host of the Tonight Show.

Artie cancels all upcoming shows

Wednesday, December 9th, 2009

On yesterday’s show, Artie said that he has been having insane anxiety attacks and his doctor has prescribed him Klonopin a couple weeks ago. He was told it takes about 4 weeks to kick in. Artie went on to say that he had been experiencing OCD flare-up (taping his foot) and pacing in his dressing room like he used to do during the MadTV days. On Monday, Artie found himself in the fetal position with his leg so uncontrollably shaking that his girlfriend had to stand on it.

Calling Dr. Drew?

Artie’s doctor suggested that he may have to go away and do an intensive treatment program, like a Sober House.

One Last Appearance

Artie will be at Comix Comedy Club in NYC on Dec. 17th at 9:30pm. He said it will be just a short 20 minute set.

Artie Lange on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

Tuesday, October 27th, 2009

Here is video of Artie’s interview segment on Jimmy Fallon. The beautiful Olivia Munn was also on the show and Artie killed during her segment, unfortunately, I do not have video of that. Even better, special guest, Susan Sarandon played ping pong with Olivia, Jimmy and Artie.

Watch parts 2 and 3 at Fallon’s show website.

Artie bumped for Michael Moore

Tuesday, October 6th, 2009

Artie was supposed to appear today on Detroit’s 95.5 Mojo in the Morning to discuss his upcoming show for the Friends for Adam Niskar Trust. However, Artie was bumped so the show could talk to Michael Moore. Lame.

Artie will be on the show tomorrow, so tune in if you are in the area. You can also listen live online.

Artie Lange Reappears on Second Joe Buck Live Show

Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009

Artie appeared on the second Joe Buck Live (HBO) episode. Artie explained on Wednesday’s show that it was a pre-taped bit where he ran into Joe Buck on the street. He said he would have liked it more if he was able to talk.

As everyone knows, Artie was banned from HBO Sports after his appearance on the first Joe Buck Live show. However, on yesterday’s show Artie hinted that he would be on tonight saying that Stern fans should watch and he wasn’t sure what he was contracted to say.
