Howard went off on a caller, Dina in Houston, when she asked him to stop talking about American Idol and wanted an update about Artie.

Dina got back on the air about 10 mins later, claimed Howard cut off her satellite signal and wants refund (or tour of the studio). Fred played lots Artie at the woman including, “I hate you cunt” clips at caller.

Gary said, “I do have an Artie update but I’m not going to give it on the air. The biggest update is that he’s doing his very best.”

On today’s Laughing with the Stars hosted by celebrity superfan, Jillian Barberie Reynolds, ex-Eagle Don Felder performed Hotel California with vocal accompaniment by Fred and Artie. At the end of the song, Artie proclaimed it was his favorite musical moment ever. The performance took place on 7-17-2008 when Don stopped by to promote his book.

Jillian personally selected this segment for today’s show, as the Eagles is her favorite band and she loves Artie.

Sorry I am a late on this one. As many of you probably already heard this, Howard was a guest on Rosie Radio. Rosie O’Donnell brought up the topic of Artie and the two of them talked about it for a few minutes. Listen below.

The Howard / Artie Bro Fight was revisited today on Fight Week Part 2. Howard had brought in a girl that was into fat guys and Artie was insulted. The following morning Howard and Artie got into it.

Ted Kennedy, one of the most famous impersonations done by Howard Stern & crew, has died. 40 years after driving off a bridge, leaving a 29 year old school teacher by the name of Mary Jo Kopechne to die without reporting it, Ted finally died of brain cancer. I am sure Howard will still do impersonations but just in case he doesn’t, enjoy this video.

Let’s see. It was June 29th that started a 2 week vacation. Then another week vacation started Aug 3rd. And here we go again.

I know this doesn’t really have anything to do with Artie but this video cracks me up. Especially at the end when he throws in the last “peace and love.”
