Has anyone else been listening the past 2 days? If not, you are missing out on great radio. Both days have been really great. I have been glued to the radio. Very well produced! Awesome hearing the old tapes from his other jobs/stations.

As a big Stern fan, I don’t like Imus. Therefore it makes me laugh to watch this. I just wish there was more video. Second day on the job and the seeds of anger are already being planted. You know he was probably swearing for someone to fix it went the video faded to black.

On Wednesday’s show they played an audio bit High Pitch Mike recorded in response to Artie calling him a fag on Tuesday’s wrap-up show. Mike walked out and then recorded himself using a few clips of songs throwing jabs at Artie’s dad among other things.

As previously noted, Artie’s grandmother was in the hospital over the weekend so some novenas her way.

Its almost impossible to recap this shit going on. The morning started out with the continuing standoff between Artie and the guys.

Apparently later in the last hour of the show (it went to 11:45am) everything erupted in Artie tossing a CD at Sal. Later Artie got completely bummed out, disappointed at himself, lit up a cigarette. Howard laid down “the fist” and declared a moratorium about the whole fiasco. Howard told everyone to drop it. Sal came in and apologized in his retarded way. Artie apologized. Howard said he took the blame for not seeing the signs that things were actually getting out of hand (which lends into the fact that no one could figure out where the jokes started and ended).

Artie did say that if things could not be resolved, he would leave the show.
